Where2Shop ("we", "our", "the extension") is a free tool that helps Australian shoppers compare grocery prices across Coles, Woolworths, and Aldi, and optionally fill their cart at the cheapest store. We are committed to your privacy. We do not collect, store, or sell any personal information.

2. Data we collect

We collect no personal data. The extension and web app do not ask for your name, email address, location, or payment information.

The only data transmitted is the list of products you choose to compare (product IDs and quantities), sent to our price-comparison API at api.where2shop.crea-dapp.com solely to return price results. This data is not stored on our servers beyond the duration of the request.

3. Permissions used by the extension

• tabs — to detect whether a Coles or Woolworths tab is already open, so the extension can trigger cart actions in the correct tab. We do not read tab content beyond the URLs of coles.com.au and woolworths.com.au.
• storage — to save your current basket locally in your browser (Chrome local storage). This data never leaves your device.
• host permissions (coles.com.au, woolworths.com.au) — to inject the cart-fill script that adds items to your trolley on your behalf, using the same actions you would perform manually.

4. Third-party services

We do not share your data with any third party. Price data is scraped from publicly available retailer websites (Coles, Woolworths, Aldi) and stored in our catalogue database. We have no affiliation with these retailers.

5. Cookies & tracking

Neither the extension nor the web app uses cookies, analytics trackers, or fingerprinting of any kind.

6. Children's privacy

Where2Shop is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

7. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
